Definitions:

“We”, “our” and “us” – Lahinch Packages Ltd.

“You”, “Client” – The person who has made the booking on behalf of the party

“Group” – All people travelling with the group.

“Supplier” – Contractor used to fulfil a service or activity.

"Time of Booking" - The date that a booking deposit payment is received from the client

“Booking Confirmation” – Details of activities, accommodation and other associated services together with pricing and payment information.
“In Writing” – Email.

“Itinerary” – Detailed information relating to accommodation, activities, and other related services and subsequently confirmed within the booking confirmation.

“Contract” – The agreed programme, as detailed within the booking confirmation.

It is assumed that you are the lead contact for your group and that all correspondence or conversations will take place between you and us. These conditions shall form the basis of the agreement for your Lahinch Packages booking.

Data Protection:

By giving us your name and personal details you consent for these to be used as necessary in processing your booking and complying with legal requirements. This may also include providing your contact telephone number to suppliers connected with your booking so that they are able to reach you in the event of an emergency.

Deposits, Confirmations and Itineraries:

A deposit of full payment for two people is required to confirm a booking. Booking deposits are non-refundable. Full payment for group will be required 4 weeks prior to arrival date. The minimum number of people required to make a group booking varies from each activity. If numbers drop below set agreed amount our suppliers may reject the booking or charge a supplement, which would be passed on to the client. We will make the client aware at the time of booking and the minimum group size will also be confirmed on the booking confirmation. 

After a deposit has been paid Lahinch Packages will send a booking confirmation with details of the payment made and also details of the package including dates, number of participants, activities and accommodation booked, the deadline for confirmed numbers and final payments and any other details relevant to the booking.

It is the client's responsibility to check that the details on all booking confirmations and itineraries are correct and they must advise Lahinch Packages of any inaccuracies within 7 days of receiving the confirmation. After this period Lahinch Packages will amend the booking details where possible but the client will be liable for any cancellation or administration fees.

Final Payment:

Confirmed numbers and final payments are due no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. The groups rooming list is due 3 weeks before arrival. The full itinerary for your event, including name, address and directions for all suppliers (where applicable) of accommodation and activities will be sent to you upon receipt of your final payment.

Payment Methods:

We can accept payments in the following ways:

By bank transfer - details can be provided upon request but at least 5 working days should be allowed for payments to reach us. Payments must be made in whole by the group leader. If full payment is not received by the date specified by us, then we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and cancellation charges may apply as detailed below.

Your Package:

Only on receipt of full payment a fully detailed itinerary will be sent to your email account. This has details of your entire weekend, times dates directions etc.
Lahinch Packages cannot accept any responsibility if you are not allowed into venues, entry is at the venues discretion.
Lahinch Packages reserve the right to change your package however, we will always inform you of any changes.
Changes by You:
We always try to accommodate any change requests in the group. Please let us know as early as possible of any changes. If however if it’s too late Lahinch Packages cannot be held responsible.

Cancellations:

If you choose to cancel the event once the booking has been made, this must be made in writing and sent by the lead name of the group. If you cancel the event as a whole no monies will be returned. If you cancel with us more than 4 weeks in advance of the arrival date, then no monies that have been paid to us will be returned but no further fee will be charged. If you cancel with us within 4 weeks of the travel date, then the cancellation fee is 100% of the total cost of the booking.

Late Bookings:

For bookings made within 4 weeks of your event, the full balance is due at the time of booking. Final numbers are required at the time of booking and full rooming list must be provided within 3 days of making your booking.

Terms & Availability:

In the unlikely event that our suppliers' terms and/or availability for your group changes after you have made a booking, we will do our utmost to ensure you experience as little disruption as possible. We offer goods and services on behalf of our suppliers and do so in good faith. If we are unable to make alternative arrangement in the case of a supplier cancellation then we will offer an alternative or a refund for that part of your booking. However this will not apply in the case of weather dependent activities (surfing, kayaking, golfing etc). In any event, we shall not be liable for any delays or any failure to perform any of our obligations under these conditions, or any third party obligations, caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, natural disasters, poor weather conditions and the declaration of war.

All quotations provided by Lahinch Packages are subject to availability at the time of booking & are valid only for 7 days. On occasions when availability for services from a particular supplier are no longer available we will use alternative suppliers that offer the same standard of product and are within the same price category. However, the exact description of a product or service may vary from one supplier to another. If Lahinch Packages are unable to offer services or products that are similar to those provided in the quotation they will offer alternatives to the client, which may increase or decrease the price of the booking.

Insurance & Participation:

Lahinch Packages recommends to all groups to take out the appropriate travel insurance which will cover them in the event of personal accident, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, loss of any monies and the participation in dangerous sports.

Behaviour:

You are expected to respect your environment and other people around you throughout the duration of your Lahinch Packages event. All suppliers and hotels have every right to terminate, without notice, your stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behaviour deemed inappropriate by them. In such cases all insurances will be invalidated and you will not have any entitlement to a refund of any kind whatsoever. We accept no liability for any accident or misadventure that occurs while any of your group is under the influence of drink or drugs. Please also be aware that some hotels may require a behaviour 'bond' to be placed on hold with a credit card or cash, upon check in. We will do our utmost to give you prior notice where this might happen, but on some occasions this may not be possible. We accept no liability for any damage caused by any member of your group and will provide your contact details to any supplier seeking to claim compensation as a result of the actions of your party.
